The inflammation score is a daily estimate of how pro-inflammatory or
anti-inflammatory your food was, on a scale from −10 (strongly anti-inflammatory) to +10
(strongly pro-inflammatory). It's an educational wellness signal — not a medical measurement.
How it's calculated
It's a transparent, rule-based estimate (no AI guesswork), blending two signals:
Nutrients — saturated fat, sugar, and sodium push the score up (more inflammatory);
fiber and antioxidant vitamins (A, C, D, E, B-vitamins, plus magnesium, zinc, selenium) push it
down.
Food types — items like processed meat, fried food, and sugary drinks nudge it up;
fatty fish, olive oil, leafy greens, berries, and turmeric nudge it down.
Where to see it
Today's score is a badge on your Dashboard.
Over time, Insights & Trends charts it day by day, with colored points by band and a
tooltip breaking down what pushed each day up or down.
